First, you need to choose the Table tab from the menu bar and select Split Entire Table.

To do so, you have to click on the Table menu and select Split Cell.

Again, you ought to place the insertion point in the column that you wish to delete. And then choose the Table tab from the menu bar and select Delete followed by Column.
